Description
Position Summary:
The Turfgrass Technician is responsible for supporting the daily maintenance of the golf course and
grounds, ensuring high-quality playing conditions at Princess Anne Country Club. This is a year-round,
full-time position with opportunities for growth within the Golf Course Maintenance team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, and tractors.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, bunker care, and course setup.
- Assist with aerification, topdressing, fertilization, irrigation, and pesticide applications.
- Support the setup and presentation of tees, greens, and hazards to Club standards.
- Maintain safe work practices and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous golf course or landscape maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to follow detailed instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
