Job Description
Follow all health, safely, and environmental requirements ; Perform cleanup duties ; Perform material handling and storage duties ; Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools ; Use and care of craft specific tools and equipment ; Knowledge and application of craft related mathematics ; Knowledge and use of safety standards and best safety practices relevant to rigging, Inspection of rigging equipment and hardware ; Knowledge and application of common hitches, Emergency stop signal, Basic crane hand signals, Knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and use of rigging equipment relevant to craft specific tasks ; Perform oxyfuel cutting operations ; Fabricate and install gaskets ; Proper selection of fasteners ; Fabricate shims ; Perform basic lubrication ; Remove and install couplings ; Establish equipment and machinery ; Establish center lines and elevations ; Identify various types of bearings ; Remove and install bearings ; Perform conventional alignment ; Perform Layout duties ; Perform reverse alignment ; Pre-alignment for drilling and tapping ; Set baseplates and soleplates ; Repair and replace packing ; Service mechanical seals ; Install and replace bearing and bushing ; Review construction drawings and blueprints for specifications to determine work requirements ; Install fans and blowers ; Install, dismantle, and reinstall Turbine/Generator rotaing equipment and associated parts within required precision alignment specifications
Job Requirements
