Job description

Job Title: Parking Attendant (Part-Time)

Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Parking Attendant at the Tulsa, OK Zoo. This role involves patrolling the parking lot throughout your shift to ensure compliance, maintain cleanliness, help parkers, and support ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use a mobile app to scan and verify vehicle license plates

  • Identify and flag vehicles that require towing based on lot policies

  • Perform light trash cleanup to maintain lot appearance

  • Rehang and install parking signage as needed

  • Provide feedback through the app on lot conditions and user experience

  • Suggest improvements for lot layout, signage, or traffic flow

  • Drive between multiple parking lot locations throughout the shift

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Strong attention to detail and good observational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Basic smartphone/app proficiency

Schedule:

  • Hours will vary, but will consist of mostly 6-hour shifts

  • Must be available to work part-time and be flexible as routes and lot assignments may vary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in security, enforcement, or facilities maintenance is a plus, but not required
