Location: Bloomingdale, GA

Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: 40 Hr

Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEM’s. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

Seoyon E-HWA, a leading manufacturer of automotive interior parts, is seeking a reliable and responsible Box Truck Driver to join our team. The Box Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to and from the client location as needed. During downtime or periods of low transportation activity, the driver will also be required to move products within the plant using a tugger to support internal logistics. This role is crucial to ensuring the timely and efficient movement of materials to support production schedules and overall plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a box truck to transport automotive parts and materials between production areas, warehouses, and external locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of parts to customers or suppliers as required.
  • Load and unload cargo, securing products properly to prevent damage during transit.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, including times, dates, and product quantities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is always ready for use.
  • During downtime or when not on delivery routes, operate a tugger to move parts, materials, and finished products within the facility.
  • Assist with the staging and retrieval of parts for production and shipping, helping to keep the plant running smoothly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the Logistics Manager and production teams regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and loading docks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Proven experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles.
  • Ability to safely operate a box truck, including loading, unloading, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
  • Experience operating a tugger or similar material handling equipment is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to read and understand basic shipping and delivery documents.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
