Description


We are looking for an experienced Residential Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing residential plumbing repairs, installations, replacements, and troubleshooting while providing professional, high-quality service to our customers.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, skilled plumber who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and can work independently while maintaining company standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.


Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday

The successful candidate must be dependable and available to work the full Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Occasional overtime or emergency work may be required based on business needs.


  • Perform residential plumbing repairs, installations, replacements, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
  • Install and service water heaters, tankless water heaters, toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, tubs, showers, and other plumbing fixtures.
  • Repair and install water supply, drain, waste, and vent piping.
  • Perform plumbing work in residential homes, remodels, and replacement projects.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, proper operation, and code compliance.
  • Read and interpret plumbing plans, drawings, and specifications when required.
  • Use plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site while protecting the customer's home and property.
  • Clearly explain plumbing issues, repair options, and completed work to homeowners.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service on every job.
  • Identify additional plumbing issues and communicate recommendations to the customer and management.
  • Complete job documentation, invoices, photographs, and required paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes.
  • Assist with training and mentoring apprentices and helpers as needed.

Requirements


  • Current Journeyman Plumber license or applicable state/local credential.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of residential plumbing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and installation practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve plumbing problems independently.
  • Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift plumbing equipment and materials and perform physical job duties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
