Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Mr. Electric is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR is the first point of contact for our customers and plays an important role in providing an exceptional customer experience while supporting our electrical service team.
The ideal candidate is professional, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage electrical service appointments.
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, service needs, and technician arrival windows.
  • Gather accurate customer and job information and enter it into the company scheduling/CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers regarding estimates, appointments, and service needs.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and office staff to coordinate daily schedules.
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues with patience and professionalism.
  • Provide accurate information about services, scheduling, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Help maximize technician schedules by efficiently coordinating appointments and routes.
  • Process payments and assist with basic billing questions as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services or schedule follow-up work.
  • Maintain a positive, helpful, and professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
  • Perform other administrative and customer-service duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Previous customer service, call center, dispatch, scheduling, or office experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
