Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets. This position is responsible for protecting our facilities and grounds through proactive security monitoring, access control, regular patrols, and timely response to safety and security incidents.
You will help safeguard people and property by monitoring for unauthorized access, issuing identification badges to authorized personnel, conducting security patrols, and responding to hazards, intrusions, theft, vandalism, equipment issues, and medical emergencies.
We're looking for a reliable, alert, and service-oriented professional who can remain calm under pressure, respond effectively to incidents, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and security.
This position is required to work 3pm to 11pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Days off are Sunday and Monday.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Hourly Wage: $21.00 - $22.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Control facility access: Verify employee and visitor IDs, record entries, use access-verification software, and manage visitor badging and parking.
  • Conduct security patrols: Monitor buildings, grounds, parking areas, and remote facilities for fire, water, electrical, safety hazards, intruders, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies: Address alarms, medical emergencies, weather-related incidents, safety violations, and equipment concerns; communicate hazards to the Security Control Center and coordinate appropriate response.
  • Provide security and escort services: Escort employees, contractors, terminated associates, and visitors; support bank opening/closing security, money transfers, after-hours events, and traffic control.
  • Maintain a safe environment: Perform safety inspections, ensure doors and equipment are secured, report maintenance issues, assist with administrative duties, and meet physical requirements including extensive standing/walking and the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50+ pounds.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Security & safety knowledge: Strong understanding of security procedures, fire detection/security systems, fire extinguishers, building equipment, and areas vulnerable to intrusion, theft, or vandalism.
  • Emergency response: Ability to remain calm and effective under stress and respond as a first responder; maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
  • Communication & customer service: Strong verbal, written, conflict-resolution, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and team members.
  • Technical & operational skills: Ability to operate security equipment, vehicles, radios, scanners, and basic computer systems; maintain a valid driver's license and follow applicable OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Physical & schedule requirements: Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift, occasionally lift or move 50+ pounds, and work a 24/7 schedule including weekends, holidays, severe weather, and occasional overtime.

  • Able to work at our office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in an in-office environment.
