Bull Moose Tube Company is seeking to hire a full-time Table Operator in our Casa Grande location.

SUMMARY: Understands and reinforces the Company vision of being the best producer of steel pipe and tube in North America. Performs assigned tasks in a manner reflecting and achieving the Vision consistent with the Company's Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, & Growth and Results.

Utilize and operate equipment, material and tools in the inspection and processing of bundling and banding tubes. Responsible for safe operation of the equipment at the table in the capacity as Table Operator and all ancillary activities that support the production of quality ASTM spec tube for customers. Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards. All other duties as assigned and expected.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Read and apply tape measure, pii tape and calipers
  2. Understand and use shop floor system
  3. Understand and utilize proper bundle tagging
  4. Understand the correct bundle size, number of pieces, wood space and all other characteristics to meet customer and BMT specs
  5. Perform set up of manual and automated tables and bundling equipment
  6. Perform required pipe coating and stencil line set up
  7. Perform daily routine cleaning and maintenance of paint box and stenciler
  8. Operate coating line
  9. Operate manual and automated tables and bundling equipment
  10. Perform required quality checks: pipe coating, stencil, surface condition and end condition
  11. Painting (spray) of bundle ends once all quality checks are performed on the bundle
  12. Operation of forklift when necessary
  13. Fills out production sheets on a daily basis
  14. Assists with changeovers where needed
  15. Complete knowledge of Company quality requirements and procedures
  16. Complete knowledge of Company safety requirements and procedures
  17. Complete knowledge of Company housekeeping rules for all work and non-work areas utilized
  18. Communicate to management and peers any safety, quality, preventative maintenance, customer focus, or equipment issues as part of the company's improvement initiatives

OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  2. Work cooperatively with others to ensure constructive and productive business relationships
  3. Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  4. Be able to understand and effectively use computerized business systems and other technology and business platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

  7. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, caliper and gages
  8. Ability to work flexible hours and overtime

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  3. Ability to conform to safety and quality requirements
  4. Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, twist, bend, kneel, see, talk, hear
  5. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently and on occasion lift or move 100 pounds.
  6. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility
