Job description

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a regional law firm in Pennsylvania. This permanent, onsite position is suited for a litigation attorney who brings deep knowledge of corporate and business disputes and enjoys working in a collaborative legal environment. The attorney in this role will manage complex matters from initial assessment through resolution while serving as a trusted advisor to clients on a range of commercial litigation issues.
Responsibilities:
• Lead corporate and business litigation matters across every stage of the legal process, from early case evaluation through trial or settlement.
• Prepare and submit legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery materials with a high degree of accuracy and strategic focus.
• Develop litigation approaches by conducting legal research, analyzing facts, and identifying risks and opportunities within each matter.
• Represent clients during depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial-related proceedings.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders to move matters forward effectively.
• Advise clients on business-related disputes by offering practical legal guidance aligned with their objectives.
• Oversee case progress and deadlines while ensuring matters are handled efficiently in a fast-paced law firm setting.• Active bar admission in Pennsylvania is required.
• At least 7 years of experience handling corporate, commercial, or business litigation matters.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Strong legal writing, research, and case management capabilities.
• Experience managing complex business disputes within a law firm environment is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite on a permanent basis in West Chester, Pennsylvania, five days per week.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with a detail-oriented and client-focused approach.
