The 360 Degrees Mobility Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This full-time position requires a compassionate professional who is committed to facilitating the health and independence of frail, underserved, and multicultural senior populations. As an Occupational Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to assess, develop, and implement tailored therapy programs designed to enhance the overall quality of life for our clients.

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in scenic Glenwood Springs, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and a vibrant community atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources that allow our therapists to conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver effective interventions. You will be part of a dedicated and multidisciplinary team that collaborates to provide top-tier rehabilitation services.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their abilities, challenges, and needs concerning daily living activities, mobility, sensory processing, and psychosocial interactions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient-centered care and focus on functional independence.

• Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings, tailoring approaches based on the unique needs of each client.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and adapt therapy strategies to ensure optimal outcomes, adjusting goals as needed based on ongoing evaluations.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and reports that are compliant with health regulations, ensuring that all client records reflect accurate progress and therapy activities.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic strategies, assistive technologies, and lifestyle adaptations that foster independence.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care plans, contributing insights and strategies developed from therapy sessions.

The 360 Degrees Mobility Center primarily serves frail and underserved members of the senior community, many of whom face complex health challenges that require adaptive strategies to live independently. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and addressing both physical and psychosocial factors that impact occupational performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Colorado.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with clients, their families, and other professionals.

• Willingness to engage collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably within a rehabilitation facility.

• Experience in pediatric and school settings is highly desirable, alongside familiarity with assistive and adaptive equipment.

• NBCOT certification is preferred to enhance professional recognition.
