2 Openings - Bon Secours Medical Associates - 15 min from the Ocean in Virginia Beach - Adding Family Medicine Physicians
Bon Secours Medical Associates provides primary care for the whole family, offering Family and Internal Medicine to patients of all ages from peds through geriatric.
We are adding two Family Medicine Physicians to the team!
We are located in the heart of the city of Virginia Beach. Close to I-64 and I-264, Mount Trashmore and Town Center - 15 minutes from the beach! Restaurants, grocery stores, apparel stores, gas stations - many amenities surrounding the practice.
  • Bon Secours Mercy Health is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 health system - Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program!
  • 4 MD's in the practice - 2 experienced/2 early career - Team prefers to add a physician with 3+ years of outpatient practice experience but new grads are welcome!
  • 100% outpatient practice - no hospital responsibility
  • Full Time 36 clinical/4 admin hours per week
  • M-F - 7a-4p - includes lunch break
  • Call Rotation is 1:10 - shared in rotation with another FM practice
  • Our providers see 20-22 patient per day average - after ramp up period
  • New provider will absorb patient panel and also establish their own
  • EPIC EMR, MyChart telemedicine, DAX Copilot A/I which helps our providers to focus on their patients in real-time and minimizes after-hours patient charting
  • X-Ray on site. PharmD and Chronic Case Mgmt assistance are available virtually
  • Basic in-office procedures - POC, EKG, suture removals, skin tag removal, I&D, some well-woman care
  • 1:1 CMA support
  • Qualified Candidates must have completed a U.S. Residency Program, and be BE or BC by the ABMS (ABIM, ABFM).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
