Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods,is hiringanHRManagertosupporttheCustom Culinary subsidiary,which has a total employee population of approximately 175,including two manufacturing sites-in Oswego, IL and Avon, OH-and corporate,sales, culinary,and other professionals at our Lombard, IL office.

In this role, you will be a true business partner: both strategic and hands-on. Youwillhelp co-create and drive all strategic imperatives to ensure leadership manages and develops its talent, understands collective bench strength, facilitates talent movement, and coordinates succession planning at all levels with mindfulness to diversity and inclusion initiatives, whilealsodirecting the execution of day-to-day HRactivitiesacrossCustom Culinary.

This is your opportunity toserve on theCustom CulinaryLeadershipTeam andserve as a keyadvisor to the President of Custom Culinaryby influencing workforce planning and talent strategy, leadership effectiveness and succession planning, organizational design and change management,as well asculture, engagement, and retention.

AsanHRManager, your responsibilitieswill include:

  • Leadsand manages2HRdirect reportsat thetwomanufacturingfacilitiesand consults andadvisesthem on routine employee relations and discipline matters, in collaboration with in-house Legal Department

  • Partners withseniorleadership to define and translate the specific business needsinto HR priorities

  • Drives the talent agenda by managing the development and performance of a teamregardingstandardization and execution of routine HR services such as employee relations, talent management and development, succession planning, performance management,compensation,and recruiting activities

  • Reviews and analyzes HR data to drive solutions aligned with HR priorities

  • Lead talent strategy for Custom Culinary, including succession planning for senior leadership roles, assessment andselectionof key talent, and development of diverse leadership pipelines

  • Drive organization design and workforce planning decisions that align structure, roles, and capabilities toevolvingbusiness needs

  • Steward and shape Custom Culinaryculture in alignment with enterprise values and performance expectations, holding leaders accountable for engagement, inclusion, and behavioral standards

  • Use financial, workforce, and talent analytics to diagnose organizational health,identifyrisk, and present clear, data driven recommendations to the Custom CulinaryLeadership Team

  • Experienceandexposuretoemployee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, talentmanagement,and development

  • Previousexperience as a team lead, supervisor, or manager of other HR professionals,includingdemonstratedleadership, coaching and development

  • Willingness to be onsite3days a weekinLombard, Illinois,plusmonthly rotational travel to OswegoandAvonfacilities.

  • Willingness and ability to travelwithin the US, especially to the Avon, OH facility, as needed for business purposes

  • Candidates mustcurrentlypossessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role

This role is affiliated tothe Lombard IL locations, and candidates for this role need toresidewithin a commutable distance of that location and will berequiredto come into that locationapprox. 3 days/week.
