About the Social Media Lead, Crime Junkie

The Social Media Lead, Crime Junkie is responsible for defining, building, and scaling the social presence of one of the world's most successful true crime brands. This role owns social strategy, content programming, and execution across Crime Junkie's social ecosystem while establishing the systems, workflows, and processes needed to deliver high-quality content at scale.

Serving as the primary steward of Crime Junkie's social identity, this individual ensures all content reflects the brand's voice, editorial standards, and audience expectations. The Social Media Lead partners closely with reporting, production, marketing, and the broader Audiochuck social team to create an audience-first social experience that informs, engages, and grows the Crime Junkie community.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong editorial instincts with platform expertise, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to build a best-in-class social presence for a category-leading brand.

What You'll DoSocial Strategy & Audience Growth
  • Own and lead the social strategy for Crime Junkie across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms

  • Define and evolve Crime Junkie's social voice, content pillars, and platform-specific strategies

  • Establish Crime Junkie social channels as a destination for original, engaging true crime content

  • Identify opportunities to grow audience reach, engagement, and community loyalty

  • Monitor audience behavior, platform trends, and true crime conversations to inform strategy

Content Programming & Execution
  • Lead content creation and publishing across all Crime Junkie social platforms

  • Develop and maintain a structured content calendar with visibility across stakeholders
