Asset Management SpecialistAbout Blue Rose Consulting Group

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is a certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting Federal customers with mission-focused technology, professional services, and operational support. We are building a team for the anticipated Department of State Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) effort supporting the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, Enterprise Applications Directorate, Office of Consular Systems and Technology.

About the Role

Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise hardware, software, licenses, warranties, inventory records, configuration data, and asset accountability. This position supports the Department of State Consular Affairs global information technology environment, which includes domestic and overseas facilities, on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, databases, and enterprise support services. This is a contingent position based on contract award and final customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate asset records for hardware, software, licenses, warranties, subscriptions, location, ownership, status, and lifecycle stage.

• Use ILMS, ServiceNow Asset Management, CMDB, or other approved systems to track assets and reconcile data across repositories.

• Support receiving, deployment, transfer, inventory, audit, repair, refresh, decommissioning, media sanitization, excess, and disposal activities.

• Plan and execute semiannual hardware and software inventories, discrepancy research, corrective actions, and audit-response activities.

• Track warranty, maintenance, and license lifecycle requirements and coordinate renewals, true-ups, transfers, and retirement.

• Develop standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, metrics, and recommendations addressing asset accountability, utilization, risk, and lifecycle planning.

• Coordinate with logistics, acquisition, configuration management, security, engineering, and Government property stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of IT asset management, property accountability, or software asset management experience.

• Experience with enterprise asset systems such as ILMS, ServiceNow Asset Management, or CMDB tools.

• Experience managing hardware and/or software through acquisition, deployment, inventory, maintenance, refresh, and disposal.

• Knowledge of inventory audit, reconciliation, media sanitization, decommissioning, and documentation practices.

• Strong data-analysis, reporting, process-control, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

• Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting inventories of 50,000 or more assets.

• IAITAM, ITIL, ServiceNow, Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional, or software asset certification.

• Department of State or other Federal property-management experience.
