RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 32 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 17 states! We are currently looking to expand our team in the Toledo, OH area.

About the Job
A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced, Mobile Trailer Mechanic, or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
  • Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
  • Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
  • Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.
Requirements
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
  • Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
