The Rental Coordinator works under the supervision of the General Manager and is primarily responsible for the renting of heavy trucks and inventory utilization.ย  Rental telemarketing is also an essential function of the position.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Create rental proposals and make changes as necessary to satisfy customer request
  • Make outbound calls to potential and past customers to create new business
  • Distribute flyers quarterly
  • Create rental agreements using business systems
  • Check-in/check-out rental trucks inspecting any possible damage and recording mileage
  • Billing and cleaning trucks as needed
  • Responsible for training new rental staff
  • Request estimates for damaged units
  • Maintain monthly mileage for Idealease
  • Submit website billing for specific customers
  • Conduct customer orientations and cleaning interior of trucks as needed
  • Verify customer insurance
  • Completes daily lot inspection and updates status form
  • Process rebates for each truck deal
  • Filing

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:ย 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of rental experience, and/or a 4 -year degree
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsย 
  • Must have a clean driving record.ย 
  • Aย CDL is not required but is a hugeย plus!ย ย 
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.ย 
  • Drug screening and criminal clearances are also required.
