  • Identify opportunities to optimize carrier mix, network coverage, and transportation cost structure.

Carrier Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with transportation providers across the network.
  • Monitor carrier performance and work directly with providers to improve service, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead regular carrier reviews and ongoing performance management.

Market Intelligence & Analytics
  • Track transportation market trends, carrier capacity, and fuel dynamics.
  • Analyze transportation spend and rate trends to identify cost and performance opportunities.
  • Use market insights and data to inform sourcing decisions and carrier strategy.

Network Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay closely connected to day-to-day transportation activity to ensure carrier strategies align with network needs.
  • Help resolve service challenges, capacity constraints, and network inefficiencies when they arise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation performance through better sourcing, carrier alignment, and network insights.

The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • 3-8 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with transportation providers, suppliers, or logistics networks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in market dynamics, negotiations, and supplier strategy
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving
  • A mindset focused on learning, continuous improvement, and long-term growth in supply chain leadership

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Walnut, CA surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana Warehouse in Walnut, CA.
