The brand marketing team is vital to Tropicana Brands Group's success, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This team's objectives are to grow market share, improve consumer loyalty, and ultimately drive profitability through knowing our target consumer's needs, trends, and behaviors. Collaborating closely with other departments, the team ensures that marketing strategies align with business objectives, influence product development, and keep us competitive in a dynamic market.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
This leader will own the growth agenda for the Tropicana Masterbrand across three complementary areas:
  • 100% Juice: Strengthen and grow a market-leading franchise.
  • Juice Drinks: Build a stronger challenger position in juice drinks and refreshment beverages.
  • Innovation: Create consumer-led innovation platforms that expand Tropicana's relevance and unlock future growth.

This role requires a leader who can set a clear vision for the brand, inspire teams behind that vision, and translate strategy into action across the full marketing mix. The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing marketing team while influencing a broad cross-functional organization. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Lead development and execution of the Tropicana Masterbrand strategy across 100% Juice, Juice Drinks, and Innovation.
  • Own brand and business performance, including brand equity, household penetration, volume, revenue, and profitability objectives.
  • Develop breakthrough positioning, communications, and consumer engagement platforms that strengthen brand relevance and drive growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end innovation agenda, from insight identification and concept development through commercialization and launch.
  • Identify consumer, cultural, and marketplace trends to inform portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, and future growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Insights, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to deliver exceptional customer and consumer outcomes.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Champion modern marketing capabilities, leveraging data, analytics, technology, and evolving media channels to improve effectiveness.
  • Lead agency partnerships and creative development to ensure world-class execution and brand stewardship.
  • Manage marketing investments, agency governance, and resource allocation to maximize business impact.

The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive brand marketing experience within consumer packaged goods, food, beverage, or adjacent consumer industries.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale consumer brands and delivering sustainable business growth.
  • Experience developing brand strategy, innovation pipelines, integrated marketing campaigns, and commercial activation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights into successful business, brand, and innovation strategies.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and align diverse cross-functional stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong agency management experience, including creative development, media, production, and strategic partnerships.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments.

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
  • Travel as required
