Sr. Financial Analyst - Harrah's & Tropicana Laughlin

Job Summary

Performs analysis of operating staff procedures in all areas of the casino hotel for the explicit reason of ensuring high labor productivity, complete financial integrity, and pleasant efficient customer service. Reports findings to management and advises supervision of the same. Coordinates the development, installation, and maintenance of operating labor standards. Assists with the development and installation of proactive volume forecasting, labor scheduling, and performance reporting tools and related systems. Assists with the training of managers and supervisors in the efficient utilization of labor management systems and procedures. Maintains labor management monitoring systems and records. Performs analysis to identify process inefficiencies. Formulates recommendations to redesign and streamline operational processes and procedures. Performs periodic workflow analysis, service quality measurements, and competitive fieldwork as assigned.

What you'll Need

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior professional cleaning experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' work experience in an analytical position. Hospitality/casino experience preferred. 
  • Operations experience in a hotel/casino environment is a plus. 
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills are required. 
  • Strong PC skills required - fluent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
