Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Framing Carpenter in Bloomfield, MI. We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter for commercial construction projects in Bloomfield, MI. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of professional experience, with a specialized focus on steel stud framing and high-quality finish carpentry trim work.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25 to $40 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Execute commercial steel stud framing for walls, partitions, and structural components
  • Install interior trim and execute finish carpentry tasks with precision and high-quality craftsmanship
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications to determine material needs and layout
  • Measure, cut, and shape metal, wood, and other materials using various hand and power tools
  • Verify the alignment and trueness of structures using plumb bobs, levels, and lasers
  • Collaborate with project superintendents and other trades to ensure work is completed within project timelines
  • Adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform layout and measurements for structural components and trim installations

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional carpentry experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial carpentry environments
  • Proficiency in steel stud framing and metal track installation
