Exterior Trim Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

Fulltime role

Responsibilities

  • Design of automotive Exterior trim component in a DRE role
  • Develop and execute Exterior Trim system requirements for Automotiveย ย  (Cars and SUVs)
  • Complete and releaseย ย  exterior components, sub-system and detail designs (Bumper, Facia, Cladding, Garnish, Spoiler etc)
  • Collaborate with key Exteriorย  system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem
  • Knowledge of Plastic manufacturing technologies
  • Perform feasibility and packaging study

In-depth knowledge of Plastic toolingย  and hands on experience in Catia V6ย  required
