Position Description:

Performs business analysis and manages the product development lifecycle, leveraging DrawIO and Scrum tools including JIRA, Miro, and MS Teams. Works with multiple product stakeholders and end client consumers across business units to determine priority needs and provide the most impactful solutions. Creates and sustains an innovative, agile environment using the Agile framework for fundamental concepts of adaptive planning, value-driven development, team collaboration, and frequent feedback for continuous improvement. Uses scrum framework to allow teams to work on complex projects and delivers high-value products by approaching problems adaptively.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads initiatives with diverse scope and complex business problems, and acts as the primary interface between end users, product management, and the systems organization.
  • Delivers strategic initiatives that are mission critical to the success of servicing clients in a changing landscape of digital solutions.
  • Gathers business requirements through interviewing and conducting group requirements sessions.
  • Generates detailed business requirements and stories to develop digital solutions.
  • Analyzes and documents current workflows, identifies opportunities to meet project objectives, and makes recommendations for future approaches.
  • Develops user definitions, use cases, and workflow diagrams to illustrate business problems.
  • Formulates and applies mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
  • Collaborates with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve business problems and to clarify management objectives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Platform Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing business and systems analysis -- leading business definition, requirements gathering, story writing, and performing User Acceptance testing (UAT) -- within an institutional and retail brokerage environment.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Platform Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing business and systems analysis -- leading business definition, requirements gathering, story writing, and performing User Acceptance testing (UAT) -- within an institutional and retail brokerage environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") developing new products and managing software products, software engineering, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software product design and architecture, and release management; and integrating engineering across multi-platform, multi-vendor environments using open standards (AWS and Jenkins).
  • DE writing Agile stories using Jira Align, developing journey maps in Miro, performing requirements analysis in Confluence, applying design thinking principles, and facilitating meetings via Zoom; and designing business process and improvement techniques, using Draw IO to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • DE performing business case justification and value realization by developing financial models, using Excel and SQL within enterprise financial systems; building and maintaining dashboards using BI tools (Tableau and Power BI) to measure effectiveness and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs); executing organizational governance and risk management processes through compliance frameworks and workflow automation tools (XTRAC); and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality management standards, using quality assurance methodologies.
  • DE managing knowledge repositories by configuring and maintaining content management systems (Tridion, SharePoint, and Confluence) to ensure accurate and accessible documentation; implementing customer experience workflows to support service delivery, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (Salesforce); and executing cross-squad collaboration through Agile project management tools (Jira and Jira Align) within scaled Agile environments to coordinate dependencies and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.

Salary: $139,318.00 to $169,000.00/year.
