Position Summary
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to partner with hiring managers and company leadership to identify staffing needs and attract top talent. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.


This position is based in Chattanooga, TN and will support recruiting efforts for Trident. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience while building a strong talent pipeline.


Key Responsibilities
Implement and execute recruiting strategies, including job postings, sourcing initiatives, and interview coordination while following HR best practices.
Source and proactively identify high-quality talent through targeted outreach efforts such as LinkedIn, social media platforms, job boards, employee referrals, campus recruiting, and other channels.
Review resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates using appropriate selection methods.
Assess candidates' skills, experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the organization.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Develop a thorough understanding of open positions, including responsibilities, qualifications, and team dynamics.
Partner with hiring managers to identify candidate requirements, hiring priorities, and role expectations.
Monitor labor market trends and identify opportunities to improve recruiting effectiveness.
Promote Trident Transport's culture and employer brand by providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Support onboarding efforts to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization.
Assist the People Team with employee engagement initiatives and office activities.
