Special Security Representative (SSR) Support Specialist (Contingent Upon Award) Job Title: Special Security Representative (SSR) Support Specialist Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA, San Diego, CA Position Classification: Full Time Security Clearance: TOP SECRET clearance, SCI Eligible Overview Trident Technologies and Consulting - Global, LLC (T2C-Global) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in providing innovative global defense services and solutions. Responsibilities This position serves as a Special Security Officer (SSO) Support Specialist, for Naval Special Warfare Group EIGHT (NSWG-8). The SSO Support Specialist will support the NSWG-8 Command SSO or SSR by processing personnel background investigations for special security clearance actions. Specific duties include: โ€ข Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures. โ€ข Suggesting, implementing and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures. โ€ข Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representative. โ€ข Performing as liaison with Government and Industrial Security officials. โ€ข Overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures. โ€ข Process visit request via JPAS, fax, and message traffic. Qualifications โ€ข Current DoD active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility. โ€ข Minimum of six years physical, personnel and special security experience with DoD or equivalent Government agencies required with operational level experience preferred. โ€ข Position requires experience in compartmented programs in DoD U.S. Intelligence Community, or supporting U.S. Contractors. โ€ข Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable. โ€ข The position requires solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities in accordance with the ICD 7051 standard. โ€ข Thorough familiarity with all security processes. โ€ข Must have a working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include National Industrial Security Program Supplement, and DoD 5105.21 volumes 1-3 and DODM 5200.01 V1- V4.
