You’ll work alongside quantitative researchers, traders, and developers to deliver cloud architectures that power large-scale modelling and analysis.

This is a hands-on technical role with direct impact on research performance and trading outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement resilient AWS architectures (EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)
  • Partner with researchers and data scientists to translate requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform and streamline deployment pipelines
  • Optimise performance, cost, and reliability of cloud systems at scale
  • Champion AWS best practices across the engineering and research organisation

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years in cloud architecture/engineering with strong AWS expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS, serverless, and automation (Terraform)
  • Experience delivering highly available, secure, and performant solutions
  • Strong grasp of cloud security, governance, and monitoring
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work across research + engineering teams
