How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Assesses patients and plans care within established timeframes while documenting findings according to policies and procedures
- Oversees and supervises the shift, including delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, and meal supervision
- Ensures nursing policies and procedures are followed while delivering exemplary patient care
- Monitors patients for changes in condition and responds appropriately, including physician notification when necessary
- Administers medications in accordance with hospital policy
- Uses empathy, dignity, and respect in all patient interactions
- Delivers quality nursing care to ensure treatment plan goals are properly executed
- Assists with and performs comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients
- Performs timely and accurate documentation in the medical record
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and a passion for behavioral health nursing. Additional requirements include:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Behavioral health or acute care experience preferred
Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), rotating weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
