Job description

Customer Service Representative

Our client is a long-established, stable precision manufacturer in the Menomonee Falls area experiencing significant growth. As the company expands, they are adding an important Customer Service professional to help support customers and keep information flowing across a busy manufacturing operation.

This isn't a call-center type of customer service role. It's much more of an information hub โ€” managing customer orders and forecasts, working in Excel, tracking priorities, coordinating with production and other departments, and figuring out what needs attention next when several things are happening at once.

The work may include:

  • Manage customer orders, forecasts, changes and priorities
  • Work regularly in Excel to organize and reconcile customer information
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing and other internal teams
  • Respond to customer questions regarding orders, timing and requirements
  • Triage competing priorities and follow issues through to resolution
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and coworkers

You don't need to be an Excel wizard or already know everything about manufacturing. More important is being organized, comfortable with Excel, good with customers and able to multitask and switch gears without losing track of the details.

The team is small, outgoing and genuinely seems to enjoy working together, and the company offers the stability of an established manufacturer combined with the energy and opportunity created by significant growth.

If you enjoy variety, responsibility, problem-solving and being in the middle of things, this could be an interesting opportunity to explore.

Interested? We'd be glad to tell you more and learn what you're looking for.
