Triad Machinery is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Parts Counter at our Coburg, OR branch.
About Triad Machinery
For more than 30 years, Triad Machinery has been a Pacific Northwest leader in forestry, cranes, and construction equipment. From sales to service, parts to administration, our team members are the lifeblood of the Triad Machinery family.
The Parts Counter position is responsible for maintaining customer focus while interacting with internal and external customers.
Essential Functions:
1. Process Parts Orders and Quote Requests for External and Internal Customers
2. Help Plan and Quote Logistics for External and Internal Customers
3. Maintain Customer and Supplier Relations
4. Expedite Back Orders for Parts and Open Sales Orders
5. Pursue new Business Opportunities through Customer Phone Calls and Site Visits
6. Verifying customer credit
7. Work collectively with other team members to achieve organizational goals
Experience/Training/Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Desired: Previous parts experience 2 years plus; Knowledge of/experience with parts reference sources and materials such as manufacturer manuals, books, internet and ability to effectively use such materials.
Physical and Environmental Elements:
This is primarily an office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator and to operate standard office equipment. Must be able to speak and communicate clearly. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports, records, and other materials that typically weigh less than 60 pounds.
