Job Description Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Compensation: $35+ LPN; $45+ RN (starting pay rate, additional pay based on experience) Schedule: Typical shift times are 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a, 6a-6p, 6p-6a Location: Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota Overview: Join the Aventure Healthcare Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and make a difference in the lives of patients across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. We offer flexible scheduling and locations, allowing you to pick shifts that fit your lifestyle. Nurses licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply! Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions
  • Record observations and vital signs
  • Administer medications and injections
  • Draw blood samples as needed
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and bathing
  • Clean and bandage wounds as necessary
  • Assist in moving and repositioning patients
  • Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
  • Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
  • Valid LPN or RN license
  • Current 2-step TB Test & Physical
  • Mandatory Reporter Certificate (we can assist in obtaining this)
  • Valid BLS certification
