This position is based in our HQ office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.


As a Director of Sales, you're owning new business growth within your assigned territory and helping connect prospective clients with Tambourine's products and services. You're the go-to person for building pipeline, leading strategic sales conversations, and moving opportunities from prospecting through close. At this stage, you're not only driving revenue-you're shaping territory strategy, strengthening market presence, and contributing to the broader growth goals of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Own and drive all sales efforts for Tambourine products and services within a designated territory.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through new business acquisition and account expansion.
  • Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound demand through direct prospecting and strategic outreach.
  • Direct and collaborate with business development counterparts to maximize pipeline generation.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and promotional efforts within the assigned segment.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and on-site client meetings (up to 25% travel).
  • Maintain strong visibility into pipeline performance, forecasting, and territory planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects and clients to drive long-term growth.
  • Ensure alignment between market demand and Tambourine's product offerings within the territory.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support overall sales strategy and organizational goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of sales experience, preferably in direct sales, new business acquisition, territory management, or client-facing revenue roles
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets by generating, managing, and closing new business opportunities within a defined territory
  • Strong prospecting and demand generation skills, including qualifying inbound leads and driving outbound outreach to build pipeline
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM platforms such as Salesforce for activity tracking, forecasting, and territory planning
  • Excellent client communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with comfort engaging senior-level prospects and representing the company at industry events
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, and Revenue leadership teams to align campaigns, pipeline generation, and sales strategy
  • Strategic, results-driven mindset with strong ownership, organization, and accountability for territory performance; experience in hospitality, digital marketing, SaaS, agency, or technology-enabled services preferred
