Job Summary:

Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Hopewell, VA

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our team at TriCities Hospital (formerly John Randolph Medical Center) in Hopewell, Virginia which is located 30 minutes south of Richmond. We are excited to offer a new model that supports a strong, collaborative team and gives our Physicians the freedom to enjoy a great lifestyle with 17 weeks off annually.  

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

  • MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
  • Fellowship training in Critical Care Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required.
  • Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment.
  • Care Team Model of 3 General Anesthesiologists and 8 CRNAs covering 6 sites of service on average. 5500 Cases annually.
  • Cases include general surgery, orthopedics, and GI. No cardiac. No OB.
  • 3 week rotating schedule.
  • Supervision model and/or doing own case(s) as needed.
