Job description

As a Leasing Consultant, you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth and by building rapport with prospects and residents. This position reports directly to the Property Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Related work experience is a plus
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, e-mail
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with others in a team environment
  • Drug test and background check required
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required

Requirements
JOB DUTIES:
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals, including:
  • Generating and handling traffic
  • Leasing apartments
  • Qualifying prospects
  • Preparing lease documentation and completing move-in procedures
  • Convey resident service requests to the Maintenance Staff ? Assist the manager with competition market research
  • Handle telephone and internet traffic
  • Showing "ready" apartments
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, e-mail

Travel Requirements
• Travel is required for trainings, onboarding, and company-led learning sessions.
• Travel may include visiting other TMG-managed communities and attending regional or corporate training events.
• Overnight travel may be required on occasion, depending on training schedules and business needs.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed are required.
This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
