  • Develop and shape TerraPowerโ€™s industrial sector market development strategy and market opportunities, including chemical, steel, oil and gas and other areas

  • Identify, prioritize and pursue high-value market opportunities aligned with reactor deployment, energy transition, decarbonization, industrial transformation and modernization

  • Develop multi-year growth strategies targeting US and global industrial companies

  • Identify conventional and unconventional opportunities in automation, electrification, decarbonization, digital transformation and operational efficiency

  • Lead industrial and data center sector market intelligence collection efforts

  • Translate industrial customer needs and requirements into alignments with TerraPowerโ€™s Natrium technology

  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor in industrial transformation and modernization

  • Build executive relationships with hyperscale and datacenter stakeholders

  • Lead complex RFP/RFQ responses and support commercial negotiations

  • Represent TerraPower at industry forums, conferences and events

  • Engage potential industrial customers, key stakeholders and industry associations

  • Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence and data center trend forecasting with Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Legal, Operations and Finance

  • Build, develop and retain staff focused on industrial sector development

  • Report to the SVP of Business Development & Strategy


Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or industrial sales leadership in industrial verticals including chemical, steel, and oil and gas

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, economics, business or related field required

  • MBA or advanced technical degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Demonstrated success building industrial sector relationships

  • Deep understanding of industrial sector verticals such as chemical, steel, and oil and gas

  • Expertise in sustainability and decarbonization initiatives

  • Expertise in industrial sector capital deployment cycles

  • Demonstrated leadership in industrial sector verticals

  • Experience navigating regulatory and policy environments related to industrial verticals

  • Strong commercial evaluation and negotiation skills

  • Ability to develop and defend investment-grade business cases to executive leadership

  • Experience working on large-scale, capital-intensive industrial projects

  • High degree of trust and integrity; open communication, respect and teamwork

  • Ability to travel 30โ€“50%; job functions also state travel required 30%+

  • Remote work must be from select U.S. locations aligned with TerraPowerโ€™s business needs, with frequent travel to the Bellevue, WA office

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, bend/stoop, grasp/grip and perform fine motor tasks

  • Ability to perform visually and audio-focused work and work in personal protective equipment

  • Ability to work around stairs, typing/keyboard and standard working environments exceeding 8 hours per day
