Job Description

As a Project One Bike Painter at Trek Bikes, you will play a crucial role in the production processes for our manufacturing, responsible for applying high-quality custom paint schemes to our bicycles. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of artists and designers to deliver unique customized bicycles to our customers. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, have a passion for painting, andcreatingworks of art. You do not need to have prior bicycle painting experience. This positionprovides an excellent opportunity for individualswho are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impactinour manufacturing department.

Whatyou'llexperience on the job:

  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensurepaintfinishes meet Trek's high-quality standards.

  • Prepare bike frames for painting by buffing, cleaning, andprimingas necessary.

  • Mix paint colors todesignatedspecifications.

  • Paint custom Project One signature frames following specified bike schemes.

  • Provide exceptional quality painted frames and forks

  • Able to work independently on multiple frames

Whatyou'llbring to the team:

  • Monday to Friday (Overtime as needed on the weekends)

  • 1st shift(8 hour-shifts)

  • Abilityto dopaintgun/airbrush maintenance preferred but notrequired!

  • High end custom paint application knowledge

  • Respirator isrequiredwhen painting

  • Able tolift upto 50lbs

  • Ability to stand and use hand tools for extended periods of time.
