Center Director โ€” Reggio's Treehouse

Reggio's Treehouse is looking for a passionate, visionary leader to join our team as Center Director. We are a Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood program dedicated to fostering self-directed learning, critical thinking, and creative self-expression through the power of play. If you are an experienced educator and administrator who believes in the transformative potential of early childhood education, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Center Director, you will lead the daily operations of our childcare facility while serving as a champion of our Reggio Emilia philosophy. You will ensure full compliance with state and local licensing requirements and company policies, while cultivating a warm, collaborative environment where children thrive, staff feel supported, and families feel at home.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Oversee all aspects of center operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe, welcoming facility

โ€ข Lead, mentor, and management center staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth

โ€ข Support and guide curriculum development in alignment with Reggio Emilia principles

โ€ข Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with families and the broader community

โ€ข Serve as an ambassador for the school's mission and educational philosophy

โ€ข Maintain the physical environment to reflect Reggio-inspired values of beauty, inquiry, and discovery

Qualifications

Required:

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in early childhood education (ECE) or a closely related field, OR a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with a minimum of 12 credit hours in ECE

โ€ข At least 3 years of Director-level experience in early childhood education

โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

โ€ข Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood best practices and regulatory requirements

Preferred:

โ€ข Master's Degree in ECE or a related field

โ€ข Experience implementing or working within a Reggio Emilia framework

โ€ข Coaching experience and a passion for staff development
