Como Arborista Trepador, serás un miembro integral de un equipo de cuidado de árboles con la responsabilidad principal de escalar árboles y asistir a los líderes del equipo arborista en la realización de todos los servicios de cuidado de árboles y arbustos en propiedades residenciales y comerciales.

Responsabilidades
Como Arborista Trepador, desempeñará un papel importante en:
  • Realizar tareas en el suelo, escalar árboles y labores de montaje aéreo en apoyo a las asignaciones de trabajo específicas, según las indicaciones del líder de grupo de arboristas
  • Realizar con seguridad todos los aspectos de la arboricultura, incluyendo:
    • Identificación de árboles
    • Evaluación del riesgo de los árboles
    • Poda
    • Mudanzas
    • Cableado y apuntalamiento
    • Excavaciones del cuello de la raíz
    • Mantener y manejar correctamente las herramientas y equipos (herramientas manuales, motosierras, astilladoras y elevadores aéreos)
  • Aprender, comprender y respetar todas las normas de seguridad y las políticas de seguridad de la empresa

Cualificaciones
  • Pasión por la naturaleza, el medio ambiente y el aire libre
  • Al menos un (1) año de experiencia en escalada de árboles (DdRT o SRT) y en operación de elevadores aéreos en la industria del cuidado de árboles
  • Licencia de conducir válida (Clase B CDL preferido)
  • Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre durante todo el año en cualquier condición climática
