Job description

Our company is seeking a full-time, experienced Tree Climber to join our team immediately. We are a leading provider of high-quality tree care services, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. As a Tree Climber, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our customers' landscapes. You will be responsible for performing specialized pruning and removals, installing cabling and bracing, and providing excellent customer service. We offer competitive pay based on proven experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a leader and member of a general tree care crew.
  • Perform specialized pruning and removals.
  • Install cabling and bracing using knowledge of compartmentalization and other concepts related to tree wounding/pruning.
  • Safely operate equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and hand-tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Drive a dump truck with hauling equipment as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tree Climber or Arborist.
  • Expertise in safe chainsaw/equipment operation.
  • Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
  • Ability to climb and instruct others.
  • Experience leading and managing a crew and job.
  • Understanding of safety on a job site to ANSI standards.
  • Understanding of OSHA standards.
