Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Arborist Foreman to lead a crew in performing safe, high-quality tree care operations. The ideal candidate is a skilled climber / aerial lift operator and communicator with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a crew in daily tree care operations—pruning, removals, and cabling
  • Ensure all work complies with ANSI and OSHA standards.
  • Perform climbing and aerial lift operations as needed.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce proper PPE use.
  • Communicate with clients and management to ensure job expectations are met.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools.
  • Train crew members in safe and effective arboricultural techniques.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–5 years of professional tree care experience, including climbing and crew leadership.
  • ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Proficiency with tree climbing, rigging, chainsaws, and aerial lift operation.
  • Strong knowledge of tree species, pruning standards, and hazard assessment.
  • Valid Class B CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and production efficiency.
