Job description

Responsibilities

  • Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and industry-approved climbing systems.
  • Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and hazardous tree work.
  • Set and operate rigging systems for controlled lowering of limbs and wood.
  • Work alongside crane operators and ground crews during tree removals.
  • Inspect trees and identify potential hazards before work begins.
  • Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, and other arborist equipment.
  • Follow ANSI, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times.
  • Assist with job site cleanup and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous professional tree climbing experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging, pruning, and removal techniques.
  • Ability to safely operate chainsaws and arborist equipment.
  • Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening and maintain a safe work record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISA Arborist Certification (preferred but not required).
  • CDL License.
