Job description

General Job Objectives:
Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectation for their lawn care, tree amp; shrub healthcare, and pest control are being met or exceeded.
Position Summary:
The Tree Care Technician assists in providing expert tree care services on residential and commercial properties. As a certified technician, you work independent in a company provided vehicle and with spraying equipment to treat customer's trees, shrubs and surrounding landscape.
Essential Duties amp; Task:
• Applies herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide application to customer’s trees/shrubs/landscape according to state regulations.
• Evaluate trees/shrubs on each visit and note any issues or concerns; diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues.
• Keep detailed notes about every visit.
• Communicate with office about any issues in the field.
• Educate customer on best practices, products used, and results by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Keep customers up to date on their tree care program.
• Safely and properly operate company equipment. Responsible for maintaining company vehicles.
• Manage designated route and territory.
• Drives all non-CDL vehicles and performs (un)loading of equipment and materials.
• Drives company vehicles and operates other assigned equipment.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Desired Experience:
Prefer Tree/Lawn care industry; however, experience is not required as we provide on the job training and certification.
Skills/Abilities:
Problem solving, attention to detail, self-motivated, team player.
Requirements:
High School graduate or GED; valid driver’s license and a good driving background. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Compensation Package:
4 day/40 hour work week , Competitive wage, bonus program, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, 401(K) match, medical, dental, vision and life.
