A typical day at a tree nursery involves tasks like planting and potting saplings, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and monitoring the health of young trees. You might operate machinery, maintain irrigation systems, and assist with inventory or order fulfillment. Team members often collaborate closely to complete planting projects on schedule and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Depending on the season, tasks can vary from preparing seedlings in the spring to protecting plants from the cold in the fall and winter. The work is primarily outdoors and involves a combination of physical activity and attention to detail, making each day both active and rewarding.
