Russell Landscape's Tree Division delivers professional, high-quality tree care services with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Our team values safety-minded, skilled, and motivated employees who take pride in their work and want to grow in the arboriculture field.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Tree Worker - Climbing Arborist Crew Member to join our tree division. The ideal candidate has climbing experience, understands safe work practices, and is eager to expand their knowledge in tree care and rigging operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Committed to a safety culture, mindset, and lifestyle.
  • Understands and adheres to ANSI Z133 and ANSI A300 standards and ISA best management practices.
  • Uses all required PPE in accordance with industry standards and company policy and enforces PPE utilization with fellow employees.
  • Has tree work and climbing experience but is eager to learn new knowledge and skills.
  • Understands and demonstrates the safe and effective use of manual saws and pruners and mechanical tools, such chainsaws, power pole saws, and brushcutters.
  • Understands and demonstrates safe work practices while performing tree climbing, pruning, complex rigging, lowering, and removal operations.
  • Understands and demonstrates safe work practices while operating wood/brush chippers.
  • Proficient in knots for climbing and rigging applications.
  • Can execute, demonstrate, and explain proper pruning techniques, standards, and best management practices while pruning from the ground and while aloft to ensure tree health and to accomplish company/client objectives.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications:
โ€ข Previous tree work and climbing experience preferred; willingness to learn new skills required.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of tree care techniques, tools, and safety procedures
โ€ข Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
โ€ข Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
