JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position provides treasury support services to accounting within a centralized treasury environment utilizing an inhouse ticketing system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for opening, closing and modifying commercial bank accounts

  • Execution of signature cards and other required banking documentation

  • Processes request tickets submitted by accounting for various banking transactions.

  • Works closely with the banks Greystar partners with and managing a high volume of daily requests submitted by the accounting team

  • Collaborates with internal Treasury partners to close accounts

  • Initiates online electronic fund transfers (i.e. wires, ACH's, interbank transfers)

  • Inputs bank account data into internal systems

  • Collaborates with internal business partners, including the legal and compliance departments, to ensure adherence to real estate law

  • Provides back-up for other Treasury Analysts and cross-trains in all areas of Treasury

  • Performs other tasks or special projects as directed by supervisor

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively via email, correspondence and telephone. Use of correct grammar, punctuation, and attention to accuracy and details a must.

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment. Must also possess excellent time management skills in order to meet daily deadlines.

  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, along with experience working in various Online Banking Portals, Salesforce, and Yardi preferred

  • Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions, and calculate percentages in order to analyze data

  • Employment history that demonstrates a broad understanding of treasury and cash management, the real estate industry and, particularly, the multi-family housing industry.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 2+ years of Treasury, Cash Management, Banking, or Accounting/Finance experience.

The hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $26.44.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participatein weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
