Treasury Analyst

Wilmington, DE

12 Month Contract

$32-35/HR

Position Summary
A growing financial services organization is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily cash management, payment processing, and financial reconciliation activities. This role will work closely with internal finance teams, banking partners, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate transaction processing, timely resolution of discrepancies, and reliable cash reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank and customer payment reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor payment activity and work with internal teams and banking partners to resolve issues.
  • Reconcile internal financial systems with bank and payment processor records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting information for financial close.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies across financial and transaction systems.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and queries to improve financial analysis and reconciliation processes.
  • Support operational reviews, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes through technology and automation.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives related to treasury and cash management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Hands-on experience with ACH, wire transfers, cash management, and financial reconciliations.
  • Understanding of banking and payment processing systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SQL, data reporting, or business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Working Situation:
This is Hybrid situation with 3 days in the office.
