The Associate Treasury Management Officer (ATMO) is a critical part of the Treasury Management sales team at Simmons Bank. This role is sales-focused in nature and will be aligned to support the revenue producing activities of the Treasury Management Officer (TMO) team. The ATMO will assist in a variety of tasks that will help the TMO effectively manage their assigned territory, grow the TM revenue in their assigned portfolio, and create more meaningful sales and relationship management interactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong TM product background. Understanding the full suite of services, how the services are delivered within the bank, and product applicability to client situations and scenarios.

  • Prepare pro-forma pricing and assist with pricing questions and research.

  • Support in TMO pre-call planning, client research, and identifying cross sell opportunities within the territory.

  • Support with creating sales presentations, RFP responses, account schematics, relationship reviews, and other sale-related materials as requested.

  • Analyzes information and apply critical thinking to design and/or execute client solutions.

  • Interacts with internal/external clients to gather or clarify information and/or expand existing client relationships.

  • Articulates recommendations to customers in response to client servicing and product-related inquiries.

  • Assist with management of TM relationships including, but not limited to renewals of limits for RDC and ACH exposure.

  • Other sales or client relationship projects as needed

Qualifications

Skills

  • 2-5 year's banking (preferably business/commercial) experience.

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal associates.

  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal); ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.

  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability; approach change in a positive way and adapt as the needs of the business or sales environment evolves.

  • Business Acumen - Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts. The processes companies use to facilitate the cash conversion cycle and the tools they use to create efficiencies and reduce risk.

  • Customer Experience Management -ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point.

  • Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 2-5 years of applicable banking experience.

  • Treasury management experience preferred.

  • Computer Skills
