Job description

Treasury Specialist

PCG is seeking a Treasury Specialist for its corporate operations based in Lenexa, Kansas.

This position offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in corporate treasury, working closely with PCG's banking partners and cross-functional departments to manage the Company's cash position, banking relationships, and day-to-day treasury operations.  The Treasury Specialist will gain hands-on experience with cash management, banking systems, and treasury reporting while supporting the broader financial operations of the organization.

Our Treasury team works closely with PCG's business units and banking partners to safeguard the Company's cash, ensure efficient banking operations, and provide reliable, responsive service across the organization.  This role reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Tax and Treasury.

As a Treasury Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

Cash & Banking Operations

  • Monitor the Company's day-to-day cash balances, investing and borrowing activity, and ACH/wire transfers, with a focus on fraud prevention.  
  • Communicate the Company's cash position to Senior Management.
  • Monitor banking platforms to ensure PCG employees have appropriate access and minimize the potential for fraud.
  • Review bank account analysis statements and ensure all billings are appropriate.
  • Prepare treasury related journal entries.

Treasury Operations & Vendor Management

  • Continually reengineer treasury processes to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and document treasury procedures and internal controls.
  • Ensure treasury services provided by banks are cost efficient and explore other economic alternatives.
  • Monitor the Company's credit card PCI compliance.
  • Process miscellaneous credit card transactions for business units without credit card capabilities.

Special Projects & Business Support

  • Maintain a high level of customer service to PCG business units and assist them with all treasury related needs.
  • Assist with year-end financial reporting and audit deliverables.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $59,600-$89,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices and functions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Process-oriented, with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with online banking platforms, treasury management systems, and/or Microsoft D365.
  • Familiarity with ACH and wire transfer processing or cash management.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal business partners across a large organization.
