Job description

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Intuit’s Treasury Operations Team as a Lead Treasury Analyst. This role is a senior individual contributor position based in Mountain View, CA, reporting to the Treasury Operations Manager. In addition to owning a portfolio of critical operational functions, this role requires close coordination with team members in Treasury Operations and Treasury Capital Markets as well as key internal and external stakeholders. 


Responsibilities

Key duties include:


  • Approve and oversee treasury payments (wires, ACH, RTP, and checks), ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and adherence to internal controls and payment policies.

  • Administer online banking platforms, including user access management, entitlement reviews, and system configuration; serve as primary contact for banking system issues and escalations.

  • Manage Treasury purchase orders (POs), including creation, tracking, and reconciliation; coordinate with Accounts Payable and Procurement on payment timing and vendor queries.

  • Lead unclaimed property recovery for Intuit.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of letters of credit (LCs), including issuance, renewals, amendments, draws, and expiration tracking; maintain LC register and coordinate with banks and business partners.

  • Coordinate and provide day-to-day oversight of Treasury Analysts, including task delegation, quality review, and process guidance; serve as an escalation point for operational questions.

  • Monitor and analyze the daily cash positioning to support liquidity management and daily investment activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Finance, Legal, Accounting, Procurement, and AP on treasury-related inquiries and initiatives.

  • Function as an escalation point for Treasury mailbox, triaging and responding to complex inquiries within established SLAs.

  • Assist in treasury audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement of treasury processes and technologies to drive operational efficiency.

  • Participate in broader treasury and cross-functional projects as assigned.

  • Stay current on developments in treasury, banking, and regulatory environments; recommend “best practice” improvements to the team.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of Treasury Operations experience, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility

  • Direct experience with payment approval processes, bank account administration, online banking platforms, and Treasury Management Systems (e.g. Kyriba).

  • Hands-on experience with unclaimed property recovery

  • Experience managing letters of credit, including issuance, amendments, and lifecycle tracking

  • Experience with purchase order management in a Corporate Treasury or Finance environment

  • Prior experience coordinating or mentoring junior team members preferred

  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation a plus

 

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
  • Proficiency with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and online banking portals

  • Strong working knowledge of wire, ACH, RTP, and check payment processing

  • Ability to quickly assess and resolve operational issues with sound judgment and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfortable working with large data sets and identifying discrepancies

  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) a plus
