OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
Mozaic, LLC (www.mozaic-llc.com) is an independent, privately-owned investment management firm with over $4 billion in assets. Our clients are high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations.
THE POSITION
We are seeking a bright, driven, and energetic Operations Associate to join our team. This is an entry-level position in the firm, where a successful candidate can grow to become a key member of the operations team.
The Operations Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to:
· receiving and reviewing incoming client communications, executing all client transactions, verifying the accuracy of daily cash and position reconciliations
· preparing/editing/distributing specialized or complex documents
· completing and submitting account documents as well as subscription agreements for limited partnership investments
· communicating with business managers, accountants, custodians, and representatives of investment firms to ensure the timely receipt of statements, cash flows, tax documents, and other financial information related to clients
· assisting the firm's senior team members with client onboarding and maintenance
· providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients
· and other general company accounting, back office, administrative, and treasury operations
This position offers a competitive salary based on experience ranging from $65-$85K/year total compensation (base + bonus). This is a full-time, in-office position located in Beverly Hills.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Must be a college graduate with a B.A. or B.S. degree from a reputable college or university. Operational/back office experience preferred, but not required. This position requires a great deal of creative and strategic thinking as we manage a wide variety of client projects. Must be driven, inordinately organized and mentally agile with an acute attention to detail; able to think strategically in complex and difficult situations; curious and eager to learn. The candidate must be able to manage stress well, prioritize tasks, and complete multiple project assignments from several people simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
Must possess an exceptional intellect, inquisitive mind, and robust written and oral communication skills with an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
