Job description

Position Summary
The Treasury Management Assistant II position provides service support to the Commercial Deposit and Treasury Management department. They serve as the primary contact for Treasury Management and Commercial Deposit services, assisting business members and internal teams with account setups, changes, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, processes agreements, and supports ongoing business banking needs. Collaborates with various departments to maintain account integrity, provides training on remote deposit services, and manages treasury management documentation and system updates.

Pay range for this hourly position is $32.60 - $38.11/hr with a progressive benefits package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Serves as a Treasury Management and Commercial Deposit contact for business members and Credit Union employees for routine Treasury Management questions, set ups and changes.
  7. Troubleshoots all deposit account issues and works with co-workers and business members concerning these issues.
  8. Assists in the completion of agreements, set up forms, procedures, and treasury management implementation forms for new business members.
  9. Opens new business deposit accounts/makes changes to existing deposit accounts upon receipt of proper documentation and due diligence from the business member.
  10. Works collaboratively with Compliance, BSA, Fraud, Accounting, and deposit operations to adhere to all credit union policies and procedures and regulatory requirements for depository accounts and treasury management services.
  11. Provides ongoing support to business members to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
  12. Collaborates with the Commercial staff to provide support to business members.
  13. Creates, updates, and maintains documents for compliance purposes.
  14. Prepares all member documents associated with new services and sends out for signature.
  15. Sets up new members on our core system and research service-related issues.
  16. Answers all Treasury Management service phone calls and responds to all Treasury Management email correspondence.
  17. Verifies and submits wires through WireXchange.
  18. Assists in the compilation of information for treasury management and business deposit RFPs.
  19. Works directly with Commercial Servicing for any account related maintenance.
  20. Sets up and trains members and maintains existing Remote Deposit Capture functionality for borrowers.
  21. Adjusts Symitar fees, analysis codes, and system warnings.
  22. Uploads information and trains on ProfitStars ID, RDC limits and administrator functions.
  23. Works directly with Commercial servicing for online banking user setups.
  24. Uploads and maintains accurate document fillings in Synergy.

Job Requirements/Expectations
  1. High school diploma or equivalent ("GED").
  2. One to three years in a similar or related experience preferred.
  3. Must be bondable.
  4. A thorough understanding of the financial institution's policies and procedures is required.
  5. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  6. Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
  7. Ability to coordinate and prioritize assignments and organize work efficiently for timely completion. Strong time management skills required to manage multiple assignments on time.
  8. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Director Treasury Management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
