As the Payment Platform & Treasury Operations Manager, you will sit within the Finance organization as the single DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for our corporate payment infrastructure, merchant services, and payout capabilities within The Roam Payment Platform by Atlas. Operating at the intersection of treasury strategy, platform cost optimization, and cross-functional product delivery, you will ensure our financial rails are scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant across all markets.

In this role, you will manage cash settlement flows, optimize card processing fees, and ensure financial data integrity across our ERP and payment rails. Simultaneously, you will serve as the strategic bridge between Finance, Engineering and Go-To-Market teams, translating customer feedback into IT roadmap requirements, driving platform cost efficiencies and partnering with commercial teams to enable and onboard key clients onto our payment platforms.

  • Continuously monitor, analyze and optimize payment platform processing costs, interchange rates, acquiring fees, and transaction economics to minimize operational expense.
  • Maintain direct oversight of vendor relationships, platform SLAs and reporting tools associated with key payment processing rails.
  • Work to expand our relationships to support additional vendors, currencies as we globalize the solution.

  • Partner with core accounting/finance to ensure accurate configuration and posting logic within our ERP (e.g., Unit4), guaranteeing ledger accuracy from transaction capture to financial reporting.
  • Implement robust validation rules, risk mitigation strategies and exception-handling frameworks across KYC, AML, credit underwriting and fraud prevention.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Commercial teams and Engineering to shape and prioritize the internal payment product roadmap.
  • Gather direct insights from customer feedback, sales engagements and internal operational friction points to define actionable technical requirements for engineering.
  • Partner with engineering to automate financial middle-layer workflows, replacing manual processes with auditable, scalable software solutions.
